We define philanthropy as the giving of resources in an engaged and strategic way for maximum impact and in a tax efficient manner. It can include the giving of money, assets, time, talent, voice and one’s social capital. We believe in the power of philanthropy as a great social connector and the source of many great opportunities.

Bridging the Gap

Aug 20th 2014

The Cass Centre of Charity Effectiveness and Trustees Unlimited have partnered to produce a new guide, Bridging the gap: moving onto nonprofit boards (pdf) as part of the legacy materials of the Lord Mayor’s Charity Leadership Programme.

The guide is free to download, and is primarily aimed at people working in the private sector who wish to take up a trusteeship or other volunteer roles in the charity and nonprofit sector.

For more information about the programme, events and the guide itself, visit the Lord Mayor's Charity Leadership Programme website.
