Charity Chooser - Our Charity Chooser is a resource designed to provide a list of charitable organisations working to benefit the inhabitants of Greater London. We hope that this database will provide a way for individual donors or networks, who are inspired to give, to find and connect with charitable organisations working in London. The list can be filtered based on type of organisation, programme area and location. The list will be updated periodically to reflect the latest grants given by City Bridge Trust.

It is an independent source of information about poverty and inequality in the capital. It uses the latest official data to reveal patterns of poverty across the boroughs of London.

Vital Signs are reports that are produced annually by local community foundations across the country. They act as guides to local charitable giving by measuring social trends and issues. They pull together existing research and combine this with a community consultation, to gain a full picture of the issues faced by a community.

The East End Community Foundation published their second Vital Signs Report. The East End (Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Newham) recevied the worst possible grade for five of the 10 social themes - Fairness, Housing & Homelessness, Safety, Strong Communities and Work.
